Brief

Attract new customers who have trouble getting restful sleep and value comfort and self-care. Make them feel confident that the Midnight Blue Silk Sleep Mask is worth trying or gifting by addressing the challenge of poor sleep and highlighting how the mask provides soothing comfort and a luxurious feel to improve sleep quality.

What I did

I crafted a marketing email for Drowsy’s Midnight Blue Silk Sleep Mask. I defined the audience as customers who prioritize comfort, self-care, and relaxation, such as beauty lovers, health-conscious individuals, travelers, and those who struggle with sleep. I assumed they valued a calming and luxurious experience over simply blocking light. I created a tone that aligned with the brand’s sophisticated and soothing image while appealing to those who value both relaxation and style. My hypothesis was that focusing on the sensory experience and emotional appeal would resonate with the audience, leading to higher engagement and conversion.

A/B Testing and result

I ran an A/B test to see which version worked best with the audience. Participants preferred the copy highlighting “What sleep better feels like” because it clearly showed the benefit and captured the experience. Many said it felt intuitive, relatable, and immediately clicked with them, making the message feel more personal and relevant to their needs.
